What a term it has been in RER!

Good afternoon everybody!
Reception have been busy these last few weeks, working hard on their writing, maths, singing and exploring the elements. We are extremely proud of our hardworking and enthusiastic friends!
We look forward to seeing those of you who can make it this Thursday for the Festive Songs. Reception have worked very hard to perfect 6 songs (actions included) and I know they are very excited to perform them.
There has been lots of change with me being away but it has been so reassuring to see the children supporting one another through their learning and play. Talking things through helps the childrens' conceptual understanding in mathematics, their phonics and learning about the wider world. Keep it up!
Finally, I'd like to say a massive thank you from Emma, Wes and myself for your lovely messages and gifts. It has been a crazy few weeks but you've all been very supportive and patient which I appreciate so much.
