Maths Friday 10th July
09 Jul 2020
Good morning Year 5.
I thought I'd show this pun again as it is relevant to today's lesson. It is all about metric units and focuses on millimetres, centimetres and metres. This is something that is definitely worth practising over the summer holidays. You could keep a record of different things in your house, measure them and convert them to millimetres, centimetres and metres. We will be looking at this in Year 6 and it uses your knowledge of multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000, Can you explain the link in the comments below?
Hope you enjoy the lesson.
