Maths Monday 27th April
26 Apr 2020
Good morning Year 5,
This pun is perfect for our current work. We will be finishing off with line graphs today and tomorrow before moving on to tables. Please feel free to do your own investigation for the line graph work today. I have tried to include something fun to give you some ideas but you may want to do your own. For those of you who are still unsure or may want some more help, I have included my own results and graph that you could use instead. It depends on the challenge that you want. At the end, make sure you think carefully about your explanation of your results. Don't rush them, think about what your results mean and why they may have happened. I have included my own again if you need them.
You will be measuring your own pulse if you carry out the investigation that I did. To do this you may need to be patient while you find it each time. I found it easiest to hold two fingers under my chin and then move down my neck to the right until I feel it. Ask someone to help you if you can't find it yourself. Alternatively you could just count your heart beats.
