Science Space Week - Science Museum Trip

20 Mar 2016

SCIENCE SPACE WEEK
SCIENCE MUSEUM TRIP
16 March 2016

The evening before the Trip down to the Science Museum...

Miss Jordaan switched the lights off in the classroom and when she turned around she was greeted by the fluorescent stripes on the High Visibility Vests.

We are all waiting patiently for the Circle Line to arrive.

The Pedestrian Subway at South Kensington Station

Here we are queuing up to go into the Science Museum.

Each child had to answer questions about the Space Exhibitions at the Science Museum. We were allowed to work in pairs or as part of the group. The clues were all there...we  just had tolook very carefully. In the end we managed to get most of the answers.

Can you remember the answers to these questions?

Who was the first man in Space?

Why is Space a dangerous place?

 Where was this left?

How do astronauts keep cool in the space suits?
How do astronauts go to the toilet?

Why are these space crafts important?

Ready for our 3D Motion Experience - The Apollo Moon Landings

Can you control your cravings?

3, 2, 1, Blast off into Space...!!!!

 Mmmmm...eventually... lunch time.

Is Space used for only good things?

Another Head Count

We learnt a lot of new things about Space at the Science Museum. We would like to go there again very soon.
