Spelling Practice

In our pairs we practiced our spellings.

We learnt 4 different ways to practice our spellings. We tested each other in our pairs.

1. Write down the word. Cover the word and write again. Ask your partner to say the word and you write it down.

2. Write down a word for your partner. Rub out 2 of the letters. Your partner needs to guess the word and fill in the correct missing letters.

3. Have the list of words at hand. Play I SPY. I spy a word that has 4 letters. It starts with a c and ends with an e. What is the word. Your partner needs to check which word did you spy from the list. eg. cake

4. Say a word and ask your partner to point to the word in the list.

With all these activities we had to take turns.

This was a fun way to learn our spellings.
