New Homework folders

26 Jan 2014

I hope you like the new homework folders!  Hopefully this will keep things in better order and mean things don't get lost. The children will be given punched homework sheets each week to put in their folders. As you can see we'll add the spelling test score to the relevant spelling list so you can see how they've done. As from next week we'll also highlight the spellings they got incorrect so they can practise these. I will occasionaly give a random spelling test from those they've already been tested on as revision. I'm taking out grammar now, as we cover this both in guided reading sessions as practise and I teach a session once a week in literacy . We will also be marking homework with the children. If however there are any volunteers that would like to mark maths homework,( will give you an answer sheet) this would be really helpful. If children need help with homework I'm very happy to help them at lunchtimes.
