Homework in 4FB

A polite reminder that homework is to be handed in on Thursdays. Many of the children are doing this and we are very grateful to those that are.
We have however noticed an increase in children telling us they have forgotten their homework on Thursday and are now tending to hand it in on a Friday. Some children are not submitting any homework at all. Please support your child to complete their homework and hand it in on
Thursdays.
The weekly homework is outlined on our homework webpages. We are always happy to answer any questions or queries about the homework if you have any.
We expect the children to update their reading record every week on our class padlet, the link to which you will find on our homework page. Please check that your child has done so. Read through what they have written or help them to complete the questions if they need support. It can be done on most devices, ipads, laptops and even a mobile phone. We are happy for your child to complete their reading record and answer the questions in their yellow homework book if they or you wish. Again, this must be submitted on Thursdays.
We run a weekly homework club from 1:00pm - 1:30pm on Mondays, where we can provide some support to your child if necessary.
We rarely set homework that is optional. Everything we set has a purpose and a value we believe supports your child to succeed at school. We do require your support as parents to ensure they complete it and we are, as always, happy to work with you to make that happen.
