oh Mrs Lucas you and your lovely class have really surpassed themselves this time!! Safiya had great fun dressing up and eating with chopsticks..we are hoping to do some more chinese new year themed things next week during half term. Thank you so mcuh for all the beautiful photos..Safiya really enjoys tellng me all about what happens in class ..

Gabi was so excited going through these pictures and telling me about Chinese New Year, she loved the dragon theme, the deco and the dragon dance and she is planning her next holiday in China....amazing effort Mrs Lucas have a great half term break!

mayah thought it was really fun and wow. she loved eating the noodles and making the lanterns.she had a whale of a time doing the dance she also showed us how to do it!!! we would like to give a special thanks to mrs lucas and mrs hussien for setting this whole wow day up.from mayah and sahma

WOW! What amazing comments. It is great to hear what you enjoyed about the day...the adults also had a great time. It is also lovely to hear that you go home and share your experiences with your family. As usual, you were all amazing.

I have tried to attach a video of the dance (note the large, blank red page in this article) but have experienced lots of difficulties. I will try and get Aaron (our ICT genius) to add this as soon as we get back to school, so keep looking, it makes great viewing!

What an amazing learning experience! Thank you so much Mrs Lucas and team for engaging the children in the different celebrations. Ben has learnt so much.

Thank you Isabella and Ben's mums. I am glad you all enjoyed looking at the pictures & that you had fun on the WOW day. I particularly enjoyed the Dragon dance because I always enjoy doing things with RHW. I also love our year group photo!

Henry had a great day and loved eating the noodles! Henry has enjoyed showing all the family the photos. The decorations and costumes look fantastic, thank you Mrs Lucas for making learning so much fun.

Thank you for your comments. I agree Henry and Emily, eating the noddles was lots of fun....especially with the chop sticks! I am really pleased you both enjoyed the day & great to hear that you shared your experiences with your families.
