Hello, Friends!

This week in Reception, we are very excited about initial sounds.
We have been trying to hear the initial sounds in our names and finding things which start with the same sound, like Josh and Juice.

You can help at home by

- drawing attention to initial sounds (would you like some mmmmmmmilk?)
- playing I spy using sounds rather than letter names ( i spy something beginning with  sh)
- looking at the first letter we you are reading (bob saw the k-k-k... what could this word be?)
