Animations in Reception
When me and Melissa went to Reception to do animating, the children animated a flower from seed to full bloom and were quite successful!
First, they drew the seed or used a stamp which looked like a seed.
Next, they drew a little shoot coming from the seed directly.
After that, they drew the stalk with one or two leaves.
Then, they drew the flower in full bloom
Finally, they added extra details such as labels.
When they pressed play – the picture where shown one after the other to make it look like the plant was growing. The children loved this!
