Waltham Forest School Games Basketball Competition

14 children attended the Waltham Forest Basketball Competition on Monday at Holy Family School. Having done a little bit of basketball in PE lessons, it was a good opportunity for the players to have a go in competiton. We had three teams, playing in 3v3 matches.
It was a fantastic morning with many fast paced and competitive matches. A big well done to all of our players, especially those that had not represented Handsworth in sport before. You did so with lots of enthusiasm and pride. I hope you are inspired to try more sports in the future.
One of our teams made the quarter finals, losing to a late basket against Our Lady and St Geroge's.
