Waltham Forest School games - Netball Finals

Yesterday at Lammas School, in Leyton, the Netball team competed in the Finals of the Watham Forest Competition. Four teams qualified to challenge for the medals.
Playing against some excellent players, the team had to defend resolutely. As the competition proceeded the team put together some fantastic attacking plays and were so close to winning the bronze medal, losing 1-0.
A huge well done to all of our players, none of which had competed in a Netball Competiton before. They played every game with an abundance of enthusiasm and a smile on their faces - win or lose. 4th place in the Borough is a magnificent achievement.
