Boys Football Team - Waltham Forest Champions

The Boys Football Team travelled to Goals on Thursday to compete in the Waltham Forest Football Tournament. After losing their first game, they battled their way through to the quarter finals with three wins. A tight 1-0 win in their quarter final was followed by a 3-1 win in their semi final. They then faced Woodside-the team that had beaten them in the opening game-and ended victorious after a thrilling 3-2 win.
This is a remarkable achievement and the boys are rightly proud of themselves; as are we all. They will now go on to represent Waltham Forest in the London Youth Games later on this academic year.
