Handsworth at the London Youth Games

Handsworth once again represented Waltham Forest at the London Youth Games in both rugby and hockey. In what is already a fantastic achievement, the teams once again exceeded expectation by finishing in the top 10. This is out of 32 Borough champions!
The rugby team were only bettered by one team in the whole of London. They came away with the silver medal in what was a truly memorable day for the players and spectators of Handsworth.
A huge well done to every single one of you who represented the borough as this is an exceptional achievement alone. You are very talented individuals who have a very bright sporting future ahead of you in whichever path you choose.
You have made Handsworth and Waltham Forest proud.
