Waltham Forest Rugby Champions - School Games

Handsworth competed in the Waltham Forest Rugby Competition on Thursday 8th March at Salisbury Hall. This year we took two teams, due to the huge interest in rugby and the hard work and dedication of parents/coaches Adam and Chris.
Both teams remained unbeaten in the group stages and qualified for the quarter finals. A fantastic achievement as there were over 30 teams competing.
One of our teams lost in the quarter final but our other team made it all the way to the final where they were victorious. This is the second year in a row that they have won this competition. An exceptional achievement.
They now join our hockey team in representing Waltham Forest in the London Youth Games on Thursday the 22nd March. Good luck.
