Year 6 Netball Competition - School Games

Our netball team attended the Waltham Forest Netball competition at Redbridge Sports Centre on the 18th of January. Many of these players have been attending our netball club on a Thursday morning and also the development league set up by Waltham Forest School Sports Network. This extra practise paid off as the improvement on display was very evident. So much so, that the team qualified for the final of their half, losing 2-1 to Thomas Gamuel.
Our team topped a group of 6 that contained some excellent teams, scoring many points but most impressively working very hard to develop the defensive side of their game.
Well done Handsworth, third place in the borough!
