Girls football competition - School Games

The Handsworth girls football team competed in the Waltham Forest 6-a-side competition on Monday 6th Novembver at Goals in Chingford.
The squad of 10 performed admirably and supported each other throughout the games which was great to see. Unfortnately, winning 3 of their 4 group games was not enough to qualify for the knockout stages and the girls went out on goal difference.
For most of them, it was the first time that they had played football competitively and so was a very successful and enjoyable day.
Well done girls.
