KS2 Table tennis competition - School Games

12 Year 6 children competed in the Waltham Forest Table Tennis Competition at Chingford Foundation School on Monday 16th October.
Each of our teams played some lovely table tennis and all won games and matches. Our two boys teams were very close to qualifying but unfortunately did not make it. They all played with fantastic respect for opponents and supported each other well.
Our girls team qualified from their group and won their final and so will compete in the Waltham Forest Borough finals on the 30th October. Some of the girls had not played table tennis before and so were delighted at their achievement and rightly so. We wish them well in the finals.
The girls competed in the final on Monday 30th October and came runners up. A fantastic achievement for the team. Well done girls.
