KS2 Cross Country

30 children from Handsworth competed in the Orion Invitation Cross Country event. It was the biggest Cross Country yet with 253 girls running and 271 boys running. Schools from Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Essex took part.
All Handsworth runners completed the course bravely with some finishing as high as the top 30! The boys were given an honourable mention for having 8 runners in the top 62! An incredible achievement. This meant that they received the team medals.
