Handsworth football team - School Games

Our football team went to Goals in Chingford today to compete in the Waltham Forest Football competition. They played fantastic football throughout, won their group and advanced all the way to the final! The most notable win, a 3-2 win in the semi final when they were 2-1 down. The team showed fantastic spirit, teamwork and effort in every game. They should be very proud of themselves.
Unfortunately, they lost the final 1-0 to a very organised Chingford C of E team who will now represent Waltham Forest at the London Youth Games. We wish them well.
