Waltham Forest Tennis Champions

Handsworth had two teams representing at the Waltham Forest Tennis competition at Connaught Tennis club on Monday 12th June. Both teams played some fantastic tennis. Team B were knocked out by the smallest of margins while Team A qualified for the finals to be played at Chingford Foundation on the Wednesday.
I am delighted to announce that the tennis team have become the third team to win the Waltham Forest Competition and will therefore follow in the footsteps of our Hockey and Rugby teams and represent the borough in the London Youth Games later this month.
Well done on a fantastic achievement.
