Boys football finals

Yesterday, the boys green team competed in the finals of the Waltham Forest Football Competition. They had already done fantastically well in reaching the knockout stages having remained unbeaten in the league and winning their group.
It was a fantastic evening of football where they boys continued playing some exceptional football all the way to the final. Unfortunately in a closely contested final they lost to St Josephs. We wish St Josephs the best of luck as they represent Waltham Forest in the London Youth Games later this year.
Other parents, teachers and the organisers have complemented the boys team and individual perfomances and have been very impressed throughout the season. It has been a privilege to watch them each week and see them develop as the season has progressed.
A silver medal in a huge borough competition is a fantastic achievement. Well done boys!
