Easter Fun In the Borough

Dear All,
During Easter holidays, Waltham Forest will be running a selection of
free family activity sessions across the borough. The sessions are for
children aged 5-11 and are open to all. Please click

This Easter we have the family sessions in schools, play bus visiting local parks, Easter parties for children and their families as well as a specialist SEND family session taking place. Full details can be found here –

- Universal Family Sessions:
All sessions are led by our Play Workers, with specialist workshops provided by professionals from a variety of local organisations and all children will be provided with a free hot meal.
Children aged 5 to 7 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the sessions. Children aged 8 to 11 may attend the session independently, however, a parent, guardian or carer must attend the first session to complete the relevant paperwork.
Sessions take place during weekdays from Monday 7
th April – Thursday 17

Morning sessions (10am to 12:30pm)

Family sessions are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis. No booking is required.
The Play bus will be visiting local parks during Easter on the following dates and times.

- SEND Family Stay and Play Sessions
As part of Waltham Forest holiday provision, The Together Space and Waltham Forest will offer free sessions for children who have SEND who are aged between 5 to 11 and live or go to school in Waltham Forest an opportunity to socialise, exercise, relax & play together during Easter.
The sessions will offer inclusive soft play, sensory den, art workshops and a range of additional activities for all to enjoy
Sessions will run from 1:30pm – 4pm on the following dates:
- Wednesday 9 April- Whitehall Primary School, Normanton Park entrance, E4 6ES
- Thursday 10 April- Henry Maynard Primary School, Maynard Path entrance, E17 9LT
- Tuesday 15 April- George Tomlinson Primary School, Harrington Road entrance, E11 4QN
- Wednesday 16 April- Barn Croft Primary School, 2 Brunel Rd, London E17 8SB
