KS2 Children in Need

15 Nov 2021

Dear Parents and Carers Year 2 – Year 6

This year's BBC Children in Need appeal is on Friday 19th November.

Once again, Year 6 pupils will be planning and running a number of fundraising activities on the day to help raise money for this great charity. These include:

Non-uniform day (£1 suggested donation)

Sports Zone (50p per go or 3 goes for £1)
Have a go at one of our sporting activities:
  • Beat the Goalkeeper
  • Obstacle Course
  • Text Box: Important information for Years 2-6:
Please bring Bake Sale donations and Bake-Off entries (together with your entry fee) in a clearly marked container to the Year 6 classrooms on the morning of Friday 21st

Please note that Year 6 will sell these donations throughout the day.
Shoot the hoops

Challenge Zone (50p per go or 3 goes for £1)
Come and have a go at one of our challenges – from Name the Teddy and Guess How Many Sweets in a Jar to Ping Pong Challenge and Torture the Teacher.

Bake Sale and the Great Handsworth Bake Off
Inspired by the Great British Bake Off? Whether it’s cupcakes, biscuits or tray bakes, we would like your donations for our great Handsworth Bake Sale! And if you happen to bake a showstopper, why not enter it into our Great Handsworth Bake Off (free to enter). Once the judging has taken place, the entries will be cut into slices and sold in the Bake Sale.

Let’s make a big difference to the lives of children in the UK!

Year 6
