Handsworth Primary School are looking to recruit a new Headteacher
Salary Group 3 Outer London: £63,930 - £72,813 per annum
Our current Headteacher will be leaving the school at the end of this academic year, after 8 very successful years in post. Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed leader who has strategic vision and is passionate about promoting the school’s already excellent standards of teaching and learning.
Handsworth Primary School is a welcoming, inclusive and culturally diverse two-form-entry school with its own nursery, situated in Highams Park in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, the London Borough of Culture 2019.
We are proud of the findings in our recent Ofsted inspection (May 2018) and the school was judged to have sustained “good with a number of outstanding features”. The school holds the Primary Science Quality Mark Gold Award, School Games Gold Award, Governor Mark and is an Eco-School.

- Has high expectations for the achievement of every child and a firm commitment to pupil well-being and resilience
- Is committed to parent partnerships, works collaboratively, inspiring all stakeholders in the school community
- Is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives within a diverse community
- Is resilient, adaptable and will promote a broad and balanced curriculum to meet all our children’s needs
- Will manage the resources available to achieve best value for money
