Full-time / Permanent
Scale PO3 or PO4 dependant on skills and experience

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced School Business Manager who will be responsible for all financial and administrative systems within the school.  This important role is both strategic and operational, providing advice and support for the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the continued development of Handsworth Primary, a multicultural, two-form entry primary school situated in Highams Park, Waltham Forest.
 
Responsibilities include the management of Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Facilities and Premises and administration related ICT.

We are looking for a candidate who:
• Has strategic leadership and management experience of areas including finance and personnel management, ideally in the education sector.
• Has effective communication, negotiating and influencing skills, including the ability to present written and verbal information to a variety of audiences, including Governors.
• Is pro-active and innovative in their approach to school business development.
• Is an effective team member
• Holds the Certificate or Diploma in School Business Management or relevant alternative qualification.
