Non-Handsworth Pupils collecting

Dear Parents and Carers
A polite reminder that if your child is collected by a sibling from Highams Park School (or indeed any secondary school) that they should collect the younger sibling by themselves, and their behaviour whilst on our school grounds needs to be impeccable.
It is not acceptable for children to enter the playground in groups in order to collect one child. It is also not acceptable for them to be using the playground equipment or footballs on our playground.
It is neither my responsibility, or the responsibility of my staff to monitor the behaviour of non Handsworth pupils.
I recognise that for a number of working parents collection of their children by an older sibling is necessary, I am reluctant to stop this practice and would therefore request that you reiterate the importance of the above to your children. Unfortunately, if inappropriate behaviour is observed those individual children will not be allowed onto the school grounds as the health and safety of our pupils is paramount.
Kind Regards
Jill
