Some of the things we've been up to in 1HW

Before the Christmas holiday we were reading a different story in the Big Feelings series by Tom Percival. We have enjoyed listening to them and talking about the times we have had those feelings. We have even come up with some new ways to help each other when we feel those Big Feelings.
The stories are now on the home learning page along with other stories we have enjoyed reading this term, so you can listen to them when you aren't at school, and read them when you are back in the classroom.
Each week we read lots of stories. Last week we read some Traditional tales. Some of the books had flaps in to help us tell the story
This was a great help for our Design and Technology lesson
In Design and Technology this term we are learning how to make books with moving parts.

We really enjoy playing lots of Maths games in class, one of our favourites is Paint the squares
(it makes great noises!)
