You've all been so busy. What a lot of amazing work; beautiful writing, amazing numicon and compass work wow! I've also been hearing some wonderful Christmas songs been practiced at home so can't wait to hear them all.

Esther came home on a high telling me the different ways they added their numbers. It’s great to hear the enthusiasm from her. Thank you for sharing

Thank you so much for the updates Mrs Lucas, such a joy to read. I particularly love the focus on maths. The philosophical answers on friendship are so sweet.

Thank you for the update, we always enjoy reading this. Great to see the focus and enthusiasm on maths, and how they described the friendship.

Really lovely to see what they've been up to in class and how they're progressing. Also prompted a discussion on sheds and the different types of abacus. https://enthu.com/blog/abacus/rekenrek-vs-abacus/

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I am so happy that you are enjoying looking at the photos and reading about what the children have been up to. They are indeed a 'window into the classroom'. Thank you for the link to different types of abacus - it made an interesting read.
