They’re all so engaged! We’ve been enjoying finding and naming 3D shapes at home. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Mrs Buckee. Yes, the children have been working very hard and there has been lots of great talking. It is always lovely, as an adult, to hear the children solving problems and sharing ideas. They are really good now at working with a partner and they appreciate how they can learn from each other.

Thank you for commenting Mrs Kulesh. I am glad you enjoyed the photographs. WOW! It is great to hear that the learning in the classroom has been extended to home. Isn't it amazing how many 3D shapes can be found in the home and the outside environment. Well done Avy.

Thank you for commenting Mrs Rouse. I can honestly say that the children all do appear to love their Maths. The practical activities and the use of manipulatives really help their learning - Maths becomes fun, which helps them to overcome any fears they have about Maths. I am so happy you have been enjoying looking at the updates.
