Good morning 5RT
23 Mar 2020
Good morning everyone,
I hope you have had a nice weekend and managed to enjoy some of the sunshine. Thank you parents for your kind words and support over the last week, this is such a strange time for everyone but I am so proud of the children in 5RT. Last week was a joy: we continued to learn so much, discuss how we can be proud of what we do in the coming weeks and how we can help others. You are an amazing bunch! It will be very strange today not seeing you at school and I am already missing you all. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can get our classroom back together again.
I will continue to update this home page with messages, online links to learning activities, active ideas, hopefully some videos and of course some fantastic, incredible, outstanding and hilarious puns. Look out for them in the maths learning too!
The homework page is where you will find a daily Maths and English post with things for you to try. You will also find the History and Science challenges there. Please do not worry about what you can and can’t do.
Do what you can, when you can. This is new to all of us and all we are trying to do is to provide you with ideas and support during this time. We do not expect you to do it all but we hope you will find plenty to enjoy. Submit any work you would like to in the submit section at the bottom; you will need to be logged in to do this. If you have any questions please email the school website and they will forward it to me. Also, please send messages in the comment section and we can continue to keep in touch. It was lovely to hear from Yousuf and Zikra over the weekend and I’d love to hear how you are.
Be happy, read, play, make music, doodle (you are good at that), draw, exercise, learn the names of trees and plants, learn to cook, learn a foreign language, write letters to friends and family, complete puzzles, make puzzles, write stories, write poems, recite poems, write songs, sing, practise maths, be active, watch movies, tidy up and be helpful. More importantly than anything, look after each other.
We’ll be thinking of you,
Mr Tromans and Mrs Grant
