BOOK DAY 2019!
Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it's a celebration of reading!
Today we celebrated by participating in numerous activity such as a book tasting, crosswords and find-a-words, learn to draw a book character, book fair visit and an amazing author visit from Christian Foley!
Firstly, Christian played a few warm up word games with us. We then looked at similies, metaphors and ways in which we can write a poem to a non-living object.
