ENGLISH: The Silver Donkey

In English, we are enjoying reading the novel 'The Silver Donkey' by Sonya Hartnett. It is a story with a historical setting -set during World War 1. Thus far, the children worked enthusiastically and enjoyed many fun activities like: sketching and annotating illustrations of Chapter 1 using descriptive vocabulary, working collaboratively sharing their ideas and making predictions, using drama techniques ( conscience ally and hot-seating to explore characters thoughts and their feelings.
