'We're PROUD of you' - nominate a teacher
08 May 2014
Today the pupils at Handsworth learnt all about Change in Assembly. Although change can be a scary time, full of mixed emotions, it can also be a wonderful time to grow and shine - as illustrated in Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar story. Primary school provides the catalyst for change in childrens lives, enabling them to reach their full potential. With this in mind, pupils at Handsworth are encouraged to take part in the Waltham Forest 'We're proud of you' campaign to recognise the teachers who facilitate and inspire change. Please consider carefully and nominate your teachers to recognise the important role they play in your child's life.

Now it is time to celebrate the great teachers of Waltham Forest who have inspired, supported, motivated and played a major part in raising the standard of education in Waltham Forest.
Has your teacher inspired you to learn more; supported you when you were having problems or motivated you to achieve your goals?
Nominate your teacher to take part in the ‘We’re proud of you’ campaign to thank and celebrate our great teachers and we could spotlight you both.
Please nominate no later than Wednesday 21 May 2014. Parental consent is required for all student nominations. We will contact your school to make sure your parents or carers are happy for you to take part. If we can invite you to the photo shoot we will let you know via your school.
