Meet RHW's Freddy and Betty

We had a special delivery today. Mrs Sheeley brought two big boxes and a letter that arrived at school just for us!

We opened the letter first and it said...

Show me love and handle me with care, as I am your new class bear!!

We checked the address - it was definitely for us!

Aris opened the first box

First we met Freddy. He had written a letter to us because he wants to learn to read, write and count like we are doing. Maybe he has been practising the sounds m, s, a and d like us!.

Then Shayla opened the second box

Betty had written a letter too. She knows that we have been very kind and friendly to each other and wants to come to school so she can make lots of friends too.

We looked after our bears really carefully today . I wonder what they will do at school over the weekend. Will thay find Miss Walter's secret supply of biscuits?
