RDL made Olympic torches

With only 70 days until the 2012 Olympics, the children in RDL made their own olympic torches.
The olympic torch arrives in England today and will travel to Land’s End ready for the start of the 70-day London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
The torch will travel 8,000 miles across the UK by 8,000 torch bearers.
We pretended to be torch bearers!
The torch will reach the Olympic Stadium
on 27th July for the opening ceremony.
