Homework during Home Learning.

We will set Maths and Spellings every week. This is a key part of your child’s learning and we expect it to be completed.
If your child is not sure about the homework please encourage them to speak to their teacher or join in a Q and A session.
Maths homework is set weekly on Wednesdays, and although it is allocated to 3pm to 3.30 on Wednesdays on the Home Learning timetable you can complete this at any time suitable to you. It should be completed by the following Wednesday.
Spellings
Here is a list of spellings for the Home learning
Please copy out the spellings for the correct week three times and then write each spelling work in a sentence.
- Use the ‘Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check’ method to revise them.
- Write one interesting sentence for each word to show that you understand its meaning.
- Remember to use your best handwriting and to check your spellings and punctuation.
The spellings can be uploaded on the homework section of our class page. Find the correct week and then upload your photo or word document.
The spelling test will be held during the Friday catch up afternoon session.
