Short ride in a fast machine by 2CD

05 Nov 2014

A short ride in a fast machine!

This week we have been listening to the piece of music called 'A short ride in a fast machine' by John Adams. Click on the link below to hear the music:

http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio/tenpieces/tenpieces_20141001-1100a.mp3

We listened to the music and then we chose shapes and colours to represent how the music made us feel.

Curved lines with light and bright colours represent calm, tranquility, enjoyment and relaxation.

Sharp lines with harsh, dark colours represent anger, fear, loudness and worry.

We also used these shapes to represent the speed of the music.

Can you work out how we felt when we were listening to the music by looking at our pictures below?
