Year 2 WOW Day

07 May 2014

Hello,

Yesterday we were very lucky because we had a guest come into school to teach us about nocturnal animals and birds.

We had the chance to hold some of the animals and birds.

We had to be very gentle with the animals we were allowed to hold.

Some of the animals were ones we had never seen before.

Dean got the chance to practise his falconry skills.

It was an excellent day, we learnt lots of things and we all enjoyed it very much.

Dean really enjoyed holding the Falcon. He said it was a bit wobbly when he was holding it, but it was ok. Dean said his funniest part of the day was when the bird went to the 'toilet' on the floor of the big hall.......
