Numeracy:
This week we have been counting backwards in 10's. We have been subtracting 10's numbers from 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers e.g. 56 - 30 = ; 167 - 20 = ; 2378 - 30 = 

We've also been subtracting 9 by subtracting 10 and then adding 1 e.g. 45 - 9 = 45 - 10 = 35 + 1 = 36
We been adding 9 by adding 10 and then subtracting 1 e.g. 65 + 9 = 65 + 10 = 75- 1 = 74
Using this method we have found +/- 19, 29, 39, 49....... 8, 18, 28, 38 etc

Science and P.E:

 

This week we have been learning about food which are healthy. We have been keeping a food diary and learning how different foods help us to live healthily. We have also been learning how exercise effects our body. We learnt how to find our pulse and how exercise effects our pulse.
