We have been learning
* the pairs of numbers that make 9 (5+4, 6+3, 7+2 etc)
* the pairs of numbers that make 10 (10+0. 9+1, 8+2, 7+3 etc)
It is very important that the children can recall these number facts off by heart.
We will be encouraging children to use these number facts for working out calculations. This can be particulary helpful when using coins to find the combinations needed to make an amount.
We have been continuing our writing about the Christmas Story using finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.
