Chembakoli Day in Year4!
Friday 14th March
We invite children to come in Indian dress on this day.
We have invited a speaker from Action Aid to share her experiences of Chembakolli with the children. They will also have the opportunity to handle artefacts from the village. There will be a small charge of £2.50 per child to cover the cost of this talk.During the day we will be exploring themes of justice through a practical activity linked to Indian factory workers. This will also link well with using number in real life situations and the concept of profit.
We welcome any parent/carer input on the day! Henna,language teaching,art activities,dance,cooking....It would be fantastic if any of you could be involved
