Happy Earth Day! Friday 20th September.

Next Friday - 20th September 2013 we will be holding a 'Happy Earth' day at school (in year 2 only).
We will be doing everything we can to help our earth. This will include reducing electricity usage by not turning on lights/computers/white boards, recycling, visiting other classes to persuade them to help our earth, planting seeds and discussing things that we can do to reduce poverty.
We will also be designing and making something to help our earth e.g. a gadget to collect rain water, a toy for someone less fortunate, a new and innovative way to recycle........etc, etc
Please could you bring in any boxes, cartons, bottles or material which we may be able to use to make our inventions. You could also discuss with your child what they might like to make before Friday.
