3RTArt - Local sketching

In Art we will be sketching lots of the local environment to link with our topic this term.  As it was such a lovely day on Thursday we thought we would make best use of it and start the topic by sketching parts of the school grounds.

We looked at perspective and so the children chose an area and drew it from two different angles, one being closer than the other.  We then came back to class and discussed the drawings, seeing if we could guess where the artist was standing and explaining why we thought this.
