Day 4 (Part 1)

11 Oct 2013

Our adventure is drawing to a close, so today’s installment is only one episode I’m afraid.  Trying to get 54 children packed, washed, and ready has been no easy task.  I would like to echo the huge appreciation for staff that looked after your children this week, without them this week wouldn't have gone so smoothly and the pupils had such positive memories and experiences.

I'll leave the final word to our wonderful Year 6s:

"Experiencing the encouragement of my classmates has brought new friendships together." (Evie)
"I've realised that you can achieve anything with determination and support." (Bethany)
"I have learnt to be a lot more independent" (Rosa)
"I have overcome my fear of darkness and heights." (Rachel B)
"You can be guided through difficulties with your senses and friends." (Ned)
"There's pretty much no such thing as fear. You can do some things independently." (Mubashir)
