Homework project for the holidays.

22 May 2013

Homework

I was extremely impressed with the work you did at home on bugs last week. Your bug designs were very detailed and your names were very creative and well thought out. I also liked the fact sheets that some of you did about the habitats of bugs. Well done everyone!

This week was walk to school week.

As a result you have the option to create a walk to school poster on purple mash. Make it as persuasive and eye catching as you can and we may put it up around the school!

OR

As we have been learning about different medicines in Science, you may wish to design your own medicine, thinking about what your going to put in it, how much people should take, what symptoms it can cure and how you will package your medicine.

You may complete 1 or both of these activities. It is entirely up to you!

To access the homework:
Log in to ‘purplemash’ by clicking on the image below:

Once you have logged on, go to ‘Online Docs’.

Click on the yellow folder on the right which is named ‘2CD homework’,

Click on the yellow sub-folder named ‘health’.

There are two template folders here called ‘walk to school’ and ‘medicine recipe’.

Choose the one you’d like to do and double click on it to open.

Once finished please save your work in the same place (2CD HOMEWORK – HEALTH)

but

please change the name of the file to your childs name so that the template is still there for others to access!

I'M VERY EXCITED TO SEE HOW CREATIVE YOU CAN BE!! :)
