No homework this week

I will be giving children some non-fiction writing homework due in 23.3.13, one week after the holidays so I won't give spelling homwork this week. I also won't give any numeracy homework this week but will do over the holidays.
We now have a display board in class for extra work the children have done at home. I have been so impressed by all the extra work the children have done this year and felt this deserved recognition as part of our learning and how much the curriculum is reinforced through doing this. Thankyou for all your support at home!Thanks to Amelie for finding out the other mammal in the world apart from the duck-billed platypus that lays eggs. Please let us know if there are any more! I am also learning!
Do also have a look at the scores on the front windows for world maths/science and literacy days. The children all did so well! Thanks again for encouraging all the practising at home.
