1RE and switch off fortnight

20 Nov 2013

It's switch off fortnight and we have been busy finding out ways that we can save energy and help our planet...

We decorated posters

and put them on display

we also played some games about recycling, transport, habitat and saving energy

'It's better to switch things off'

'We can recycle lots of things including paper and food'

you can also go online and play these games - http://jointhepod.org/campaigns/campaign/29

S
o remember - switch off those lights...

Wow 1RE! You are Eco Champs! Maybe you could feed back in an assembly at the end of Switch off fortnight? Well done! Do you have an Energy monitor? Miss Lloyd 4EL (Eco-Coordinator)

Hi, thanks for your comment! We have 2 'eco warriors' in our class, they make sure that paper gets recycled and the lights get turned off when we leave a room. Miss Edwards
Ms Rachael Edwards - 25 Nov 2013 - 12:45
Fab! Ask your 'warriors' if they would like to come and get an Eco sticker from me tomorrow! Good job 1RE!
