1RE the mathematical-eco warriors - 3D junk modeling

13 Mar 2014

Thank you some much for your generous junk donations for our 3D construction last week.  We were able to pass on what we didn't use to the reception classes to ensure we stay an eco-friendly school by reusing and recycling.

The children showed some excellent co-operation and team work to make their constructions.  We had quite a range of designs including hats, hot air balloons, robots and space ships.  Have a look at the pictures below for some of the things that were made.

Can you name the 3D shapes that have been used?

What is Niamh doing? I enjoyed making my rocket ship with Rose. By Mia.

I believe Niamh is showing us what an alien would look like if it was wearing the hat she made!
