1DL Remember, Remember the 5th November!

08 Nov 2013

Welcome back after the half term break.

This week in 1DL we have been learning about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot.

We were thinking about keeping safe so we made these firework posters.

We enjoyed lots of Firework art activities; using paint

pastels

marble rolling

and glitter!

In literacy, we read some firework poems.
We worked in partners or small groups to make up our own poems.

We hope you had a good Bonfire Night smiley

Wonderful lessons Miss Lee, and very well done to the children. The poems and art are brilliant! The safety posters were also very good and Ethan C took great care to remind our family of all the good ideas to keep safe.
